TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is TiE’s flagship program for high school students (grades 9–12), teaching the fundamentals of building a startup—from idea to pitch—in a hands-on, mentor-led environment.

The TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) program is proudly delivered in partnership with The Entrepreneur Academy (TEA).

​

Students benefit from TEA’s personalized learning model and TYE’s global curriculum and competition.

Both TEA and TYE share a common goal: to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs by giving them real-world tools, connections, and confidence.

Global Competition

The TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Global Competition is the culminating international pitch event that brings together the top high school startup teams from around the world.

After completing the local TYE program—delivered by partners like The Entrepreneur Academy—winning teams advance to represent their region on a global stage.

it’s a launchpad for young entrepreneurs to validate their ideas, build lifelong connections, and gain exposure on an international platform.

Each summer, 25+ champion teams from TiE chapters worldwide gather for an unforgettable multi-day experience,  including:

 

Live Pitch Fest:

  • 1-minute elevator pitch

  • 10-minute business presentation

  • 5-minute judge Q&A

 

Prototype Showcase:

  • Maker Faire–style exhibits

  • Hands-on product demos

Workshops & Masterclasses:

  • AI, social impact, blockchain, and more

 

  • Corporate Tours & Networking:Visits to top companies (e.g., Qualcomm, Amazon)
