Jesal Prabaker is the Founder and CEO of Optimized GC, a legal advisory firm that helps growing companies build practical, execution-ready legal and compliance programs. With more than 13 years of in-house experience as General Counsel, Jesal has led global teams and developed efficient frameworks for legal operations, privacy, and AI governance that enable companies to grow responsibly and securely.​

 

Jesal is known for transforming legal functions into strategic business partners. Over her career, she has launched and scaled privacy programs across 11 companies, led nine post-acquisition legal integrations, and implemented governance structures supporting compliance across 57 entities in 21 countries. A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Jesal advises organizations on data protection and emerging AI regulations. 

 

In addition to managing TEA’s Scholarship Committee, Jesal volunteers her legal and privacy expertise to strengthen TEA’s operations and help the organization continue to grow its impact.
